The school was approved by the Ministry of Education before it became operational. Merdan Model School lays much emphasis on character moulding. We ensure that our pupils are intelligent, bold and self-confident. This is because we run a wholesome package that covers cognitive, effective and psycho-motor domains very adequately. .

In addition to the prescribed scheme of work by the Ministry of Education, we also teach French language, Ballet and other types of dances, Karate, Music etc. to help our learners discover their hidden talents, perform excellently and become the best among their equals.

In Merdan Model School, only experienced and qualified teachers are employed and they are well supervised by the state ministry of education. Our environment is serene and conducive for effective teaching and learning..

We do not compromise standard, hence, we have a well-equipped laboratory, CCTV cameras all over the premises and classrooms, an air-conditioned bus for school runs, well-equipped and functional computer laboratory, a well-equipped music room etc.
We provide adequate security cover for our learners and staff. We also have constant electricity and portable water supply for the comfort of our pupils and staff.

Academically, we have always soared high. The first set of pupils we presented for Primary Six exams in 2019/2020 passed with excellent grades and are all in secondary schools presently.
